Product Description When Propper committed to developing Tactical Pants they did so with the single mission of offering the highest quality, most functional Tactical Trousers on the market at the lowest possible price. 5.11 did a nice job adapting an alpine climbing pant for tactical use, but Propper Tactical Pants were designed from the ground up for the demands of law enforcement. While cotton has its applications, Propper realized that making the most durable Tactical Pants around was not one of them. Instead they chose a superior polyester / cotton blend to withstand the daily abuses inherent with service in the line of duty. And because you're more comfortable with a weapon in your hand than an ironing board, these pants were designed to be wrinkle and fade resistant. They topped off these beauties with a DupontTeflontreatment making them one the most functional trousers on the planet. With a price under thirty bucks, it's no wonder they're flying out the door, and shaking up the industry.

Pants April 6, 2009 Dennis T. Young (Silver Creek, GA) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
The claims about stain resistance are true. I'm gotten some tough stains that washed away without special treatment. They are not waterproof, but do hold water on the surface for a short period in order to brush it away. This is my third pair of the same pants in different colors. They have not faded in any capacity that I can see. The material is stiff (particularly before a few wash cycles). They keep a pressed look that means they maintain a certain stiffness. At this point, I use them for workout clothing. They are $10 more than the regular fatigues and in my opinion, definitely worth the difference. I have not worn them in hot weather but the comfort is better than I expected. There are built-in metal loops for attaching any number of devices.
Good Quality May 27, 2009 Jeffrey P. Wilson (Huntsville, AL) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I like theses pants. They have good quality fabric with good stiches. They also don't wrinkle easily. They fit well.
Just what the Captain ordered. December 13, 2009 Benedict Rocks (Chicago, IL) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
After extensive testing we love these BDUs. We're former military officers who think these low-key black BDUs are great. They retain military standards but have been upgraded to fit our current needs. They fit well and are built for superior endurance. One niggling complaint: the shipping charge is much higher than the UPS cost of shipping these in an envelope. So, 4.5 stars.
Great value!!! January 19, 2010 Ryan Webb (MARINA DEL REY, CA, US) Our agency bought several of these and are very happy - for the cost you can not find a better value. Proper and Ripstop are the best and this item is no exception. The seller is also VERY helpful and communicates quickly!
Great Pants January 30, 2010 Mary V. Baird (Houston, TX) Nice looking pants for work or play. Sturdy with lots of pockets and places for phone, communiction devices snd tools or other needed items. Look better than moost. Side pockets do not stick out.
