Best anti-fog solution I have used January 23, 2010 Stephen M. Charme (Cranford, NJ United States) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
If you have ever gone to a state fair or carnival, you probably have come across a kiosk where they offer to clean your eyeglasses and then hold them over a steaming teakettle to show that they don't fog up. I have purchased my fair share of those products, which do work--but only for a short time. This product is totally different.
I need to keep my sunglasses fog free when I am running outdoors in the winter with a face mask, and my ski goggles fog free when I do winter sports. This product works better than anything I have ever used. Yes, there are much cheaper products, but they work only for a short time, and then the fog starts creeping in. Not so with this product. In fact, a single application keeps my shaving mirror in the shower completely fog free for several days. After that, when the mirror starts to fog up, a single wipe of the towel keeps the mirror fog free for the rest of the shower. As a practical matter I only have to apply this product about once a week to my shower mirror.
Although this product is undoubtedly the most expensive anti-fog solution that I have ever used, because a single application lasts so long, it is actually more economical in the long run. This is definitely the best anti-fog solution I have used and is simple to apply. Therefore I recommend it.
Update July 18, 2010: After nearly six months of weekly use on my shower mirror, I still have most of the product left. I just dispense three drops onto the included applicator and spread it around without any streaking problem. Because so little of this product is required compared to other products that I have used--and with better results--this product really is the most economical way to keep things fog free.
Three way *extreme* comparison December 28, 2009 Dire Wolf (Seattle, WA) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I practice karate & I wear glasses. This is not a happy combination - I spend too much time picking my glasses up off the mat. So I went out & bought a pair of sports goggles, they stay on but fog up something fierce. (My *opponents* like sparring with a blind man, though... ;-) For those who don't practice the Ancient Asian Art of kicking-below-the-belt: it is the *ultimate* workout. You sweat an unbelievable amount, making this a true stress test for anti-fog goop. I tried an old spray-on I use for my motorcycle face shield - but that did next-to-nothing to help.
I hit good ol' Amazondotcom & found the three highest-rated anti-fog products & tried them out on successive weeks.
NUMBER THREE is the artfully-named "Cat Crap" Ek Cat Crap Glass and Lens Cleaner It's a waxy substance, you smear it on & by the directions buff it until clear. But I don't know how to tell the difference between "buffing until clear" and "wiping it off." It did do better at mitigating the fogging problem than the old spray-on I had laying around. But it still didn't keep the lenses clear, either. Three Stars.
NUMBER TWO is Sea Drops Sea Drops Anti-Fog & Lens Cleaner This is a viscous fluid, you smear it on & let it dry, then buff. I buffed it just barely enough for the spots to disappear & tried it out. It worked "pretty good." My lenses didn't fog up, stayed mostly clear but by the end of class there was still a little spotting. Much better than the old spray-on, but still not quite as good as number one. Four Stars.
For my money, NUMBER ONE is Fog Tech. FogTech Anti-fog 30ml Solution It's a clear solution, you wipe it on & let dry. That's it, no guessing how much buffing you need. My goggles stayed clear & dry throughout the class. It may be the priciest solution, but it works. Five Stars.
Now I can see the foot coming at my nose.
Much better.

No Fog at all!!! August 17, 2008 Daniel E. Mewhorter (Chesapeake VA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased this item and applied it along with the JT Plexus, the night before playing. It was a hot and humid day and as soon as I entered the woods ball field all of my teammates fogged up. BUT NOT ME!!! I played that round and my teammates were asking to use this.
THIS STUFF IF WORTH TWICE THE PRICE!!!
Great for paintball in high humidity May 9, 2010 Elizabeth White 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My husband was playing in the Scenario Paintball Players League World Finals in 2008 in Georgia. It was raining the entire tournament, and he had been applying another brand to his paintball goggles between every game on Saturday, and he was still fogging. I was helping in a vendor booth, and they had the packets of Fogtech wipes. I gave him a Fogtech wipe on Sunday morning; he shared it with a teammate, and they stayed fog-free the rest of the tourney, clinching second in the nation in their division!
Must Have for paintballers and sportsmen June 9, 2010 S. Barger (DC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got a free sample during an August scenario in Virginia. It is UNBEATABLE! Use it as directed and you will not fog up again. I've played scenarios in the hot humid south, cold northeast and never fogged again!
